As the Ostim Medical Industry Cluster, we visited our cluster member STERISTAR and also our Board Member Umut Dogu Kaya at their factory. During the visit, we received detailed information about the company's production infrastructure, product portfolio, and work in the field of sterilization control products.
Steristar specializes in consumables and sterilization control products for Central Sterile Materials Department (CSSD) processes, manufacturing a wide range of products including chemical indicators, Bowie-Dick tests, packaging products, sterilization monitoring systems, as well as surgical instrument washing performance indicators and protein residue tests. The company offers solutions that contribute to the safe and traceable execution of sterilization processes in healthcare facilities.
During the visit, the company's production processes and quality approach were examined on-site. It was observed that Steristar effectively carries out its product development processes with its production infrastructure compliant with international standards and its R&D-focused approach. In addition, there was a mutual exchange of views on the current needs of the sector, the challenges encountered, and areas for solution.
