As the Ostim Medical Industry Cluster, we visited Foras Medical, one of our member companies, at its new factory. We had a detailed discussion of the company's current R&D efforts, developments in production processes, and the latest status of its products, a company we already knew well.
Foras Medikal, a manufacturer specializing in respiratory devices since 1997, holds a strong position in the sector with its ventilators, oxygen concentrators, sleep apnea devices, and related consumables. Its products, particularly home ventilators, offer solutions for both clinical needs and home care processes.
During the visit, the company's current production and R&D activities were examined on-site. Particularly noteworthy were the company's in-house electronic and mechanical design processes, as well as its expertise in testing and verification. The user-centric design of products and the integration of feedback from the field into the development processes stand out as significant strengths.
Foras's production structure, which complies with ISO 13485 and CE processes, and its export capabilities were also among the topics evaluated. With its technical expertise and production infrastructure, the company continues to be one of the important representatives of domestic production in the field of respiratory devices.
