UMS Experts Metrology Service, which has been providing calibration, training and consultancy services in the industrial field since 1994, is located in Türkiye.
UMS Medical has identified a need in Turkey for inspection and testing organizations that assess the suitability of medical devices, product compatibility and reliability, and the suitability and environmental impact of healthcare institutions and organizations. These organizations must have highly qualified personnel with extensive experience in the medical field, operate according to international standards, and possess accreditation in the same areas.
UMS began collaborating with the HygCen group, which possesses these qualifications, in 2009 and established UMS Medical as a joint venture in 2011.
HygCen is an accredited testing institute in Germany and Austria according to EN ISO/IEC 17025, and an accredited inspection body according to EN ISO/IEC 17020 standard. It is a leading international player, providing on-site and laboratory services in numerous countries worldwide.
UMS Medical aims to provide services with the same quality and understanding (vision) in Türkiye and has set out to establish its own laboratory.
