PROTED PROTEZ ORTEZ REHABİLİTASYON MERKEZİ

Proted, which initially started its operations in Ankara in 1992 as an orthopedic prosthesis and orthosis application workshop, shifted its focus to production in the early 2000s, recognizing the gap in this field in Turkey and the negative consequences of external dependence. The fact that İlhan Şahin, the founder of Proted, is an engineer with years of experience in this field played a significant role in initiating production.

Today, it surpasses many companies operating in this field in Europe in terms of product variety and quality. It is also the leading domestic company in Turkey. It supplies products to many institutions considered references in Turkey in this field, such as GATA (Gülhane Military Medical Academy), the Turkish Armed Forces Rehabilitation Center, Hacettepe University, and Gazi University. Furthermore, it exports to 35 countries. Proted conducts its production, management, and application activities for orthopedic prostheses and orthoses in its new building with modern architecture and a 4600 m² indoor area located in the İvedik Organized Industrial Zone. Proted employs 42 people. Proted fulfills the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 Quality Management Systems in its processes. Our vision is to produce prosthetic and orthotic components using advanced technology in line with the needs of people with disabilities, in order to make their lives easier and improve their quality of life.
