Gelecek Medikal was founded in 2011 as a research and development company in the Istanbul Technical University Technopark. In its early years, the company focused on developing industrial production and tracking systems. In 2014, it produced a six-axis, lightweight, next-generation robotic arm used in advanced industrial manufacturing.
The company began developing pre-analytical systems for the medical field in 2016. In 2017, it introduced Türkiye's first automated tube barcode labeling system. Subsequently, it developed automated tube sorting and automated tube capping systems.
