Founded in Ankara in the 2000s, ERC Group has been steadily and decisively progressing towards becoming one of Turkey's leading private sector representatives, building on its successful track record. Initially operating in the ophthalmology sector and marketing its products through authorized distributors within the country, the company quickly shifted to importing a significant portion of its products from foreign manufacturers within a short period of 3-4 years. In 2011, the group decided to begin domestic production, establishing an ISO7-standard manufacturing facility in its Gersan Industrial Site, thus initiating the domestic production of ophthalmology consumables. At this stage, it has achieved another first in Turkey by exporting to numerous countries, primarily in Europe.
