OSTİM was represented at the reception by the managers of ecosystem institutions.
The reception was attended by the Chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly National Defence Commission Hulusi Akar, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Hacı Ali Özel, President of the Presidency of Defence Industries Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, Deputy Ministers, Members of Parliament, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, nearly 200 ambassadors and diplomatic mission representatives from more than 100 countries, ASO Assembly and Committee Members, and leading figures from the public sector, international organizations, civil society, and the business world.
Speaking at the opening of the reception, ASO President Seyit Ardıç stated that they aim to further advance Ankara's production and technological expertise through international collaborations, and called on European Union ambassadors to update the Customs Union and resolve the visa issue for the business world.
TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu also stated that ASO is among the pioneering institutions that are leading Turkish industry towards high technology and green transformation, and that the Traditional Embassies Reception brings diplomacy and the business world together at the same table.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Hacı Ali Özel also pointed out that ambassadors are important actors in promoting the economic and commercial potential of countries to the world, and said, "As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we are resolutely continuing a diplomatic approach that paves the way for our business world, strengthens our trade and investment relations, and contributes to the activities of Turkish entrepreneurs abroad."
