Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey, Oruç Baba İnan, accompanied by the Head of Industrial Zones Department, Alper Nevruz, and the Ankara Provincial Director of Industry and Technology, Dr. Ömer Ersoy, visited OSTİM.

Oruç Baba İnan first met with the members of the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Board of Directors, the chairmen of the cluster boards, and representatives of OSTİM institutions. OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Board Chairman Orhan Aydın provided Deputy Minister Oruç Baba İnan with detailed information about the OSTİM ecosystem and its national and international projects.

Pointing to the importance of SMEs, Aydın stated, "When we talk about OSTİM, we are not just talking about an organized industrial zone, but an ecosystem." Underlining the need for universities, industry, and the public sector to focus together for the development of our country, President Aydın said: "We need to work by constantly improving, developing, understanding each other, and listening to each other." Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Oruç Baba İnan said, "I was proud of the work done in OSTİM. A very beautiful ecosystem has been formed here. The fact that many components; from foundations to investments, from clustering to other organizations, are trying to heal the wounds of the country in many areas made me extremely happy and proud. May God be pleased with everyone who contributed." He added, "How can we take the current state of Turkish industry to the next level? How can we develop its infrastructure, railways, ports, and new generation industrial areas?" Inan continued, saying: “I also congratulate the foundation. The foundation is an organization that will bind you to life and the future like an iron rod in terms of the sustainability of all the work. You have really established a very beautiful ecosystem here.” Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Oruç Baba İnan and his accompanying delegation then inspected the PROTA Technology Production Workshop and the Defense Technologies Engineering and Trade Inc. (STM) Campus within the OSTİM Technopark.
