OSTİM Medical Industry Cluster represented the Turkish medical device sector at an international business forum organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Health.
Investment and collaboration opportunities in the medical device sector were discussed at the “HAI Fest - Business Forum,” hosted by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia on April 1, 2026. Fatin Dağçınar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM Medical Industry Cluster, participated as an invited speaker and delivered an online presentation.
Sectoral Potential and Cooperation Models
Speaking at the panel titled "Partnership Models and Investment Opportunities in the Indonesian Medical Device Sector," Dağçınar provided information about the technological infrastructure and production standards of companies operating within OSTİM. The key points highlighted in the presentation were as follows:
Production Standards: The production capabilities of cluster member companies, in accordance with international quality certifications, were shared.
Bilateral Trade: The facilitating role that OSTİM Medical Industry Cluster can play in trade relations between Türkiye and Indonesia was highlighted.
Technological Expertise: Innovative solutions offered by Turkish industry for healthcare investments in the region were presented.
Broadly Participating Platform
The forum included chambers of commerce and investment agencies (AmCham, EuroCham, EKONID, KOTRA, JETRO) from countries such as the USA, Europe, Germany, South Korea, and Japan.
During the program, Dağçınar exchanged views with Indonesian Ministry of Health officials and regional health institution managers, conveying the cluster's vision for international cooperation. This participation aims to contribute to the visibility of the Turkish medical sector in the Southeast Asian market.
