The Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Ankara, Anatoly Glaz, and the Economic Counselors, Ruslan Kizelevich and Ilya Kapitan, visited OSTİM.
OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Chairman Orhan Aydın briefed the Ambassador about OSTİM. Aydın stated that OSTİM is capable of meeting all the needs of a city or a country, and that they are ready for cooperation with Belarus based on a win-win philosophy in meeting mutual needs. Aydın emphasized that they want to cooperate with their counterparts in Belarus on the topics of an organized industrial zone, a technopark, and a technical university.
Belarus Ambassador to Ankara, Anatoly Glaz, noted that he had been to many industrial zones in China and stated that OSTİM was even more advanced than the industrial zones in China.
The Ambassador emphasized his admiration for OSTİM's ability to meet every demand, stating, "We can find everything we might want in OSTİM. Both Turkey's and Belarus's industries have a mutually supportive structure. We see a high level of cooperation between the two countries. We want to focus more on joint production and partnership relationships."
Providing information about the capacity of the automotive industry in Belarus, the Ambassador invited OSTİM to the INNOPROM. Belarus Fair, which will be held in the capital Minsk between September 30 and October 2, 2026, to get to know the Belarusian and Eurasian industries better.
The ambassador and his delegation visited Hidroport Engineering, Kayen Mining, and Elmed, all companies operating in OSTİM, and examined their products closely. The delegation also received information about cooperation opportunities at the OSTİM Technopark Technology Production Workshop PROTA and OSTİM Technical University.
